The Oddiyana Dharma Sanctuary is a Not for Profit, Buddhist Centre for lay and ordained practitioners situated in beautiful Hervey Bay, Queensland Australia.

Hervey Bay has often been called the Jewel in Queensland’s crown. It is also referred to as the Whale Watch Capital of the World. A scenic 3 1/2 hour drive north of Brisbane and only 45 minutes by air from Brisbane, with regular direct flights from Sydney as well as regular flights from Melbourne.  The city has a wonderful subtropical climate and is a beautiful environment to recharge your batteries and find some peace and calm in your life.

The work exchange program offers people a unique opportunity to live in a Dharma setting and to provide service to this special Sanctuary in exchange for accommodation and food.
